Cultural diversity
Cultural diversity is the variety of human societies and cultures in a specific region. Sometimes the term might also refer to multiculturalism within a region. The picture basically explains cultural diversity itself. There are obvious cultural differences between certain people and countries, such as language, tradition, values, religion and moral.
Kulturelle Vielfalt ist die Vielfalt von Gesellschaften und Kulturen in einer speziellen Region. Manchmal wird der Begriff auch verwendet um auf den Multikulturalismus in einer Region hinzuweisen. Das Bild soll die kulturelle Vielfalt symbolisieren. Es gibt eindeutige Unterschiede zwischen verschiedenen Leuten und Ländern, wie Sprache, Tradition, Werten, Religion und Moral.
Cultural hybridity
Cultural hybridity is used to describe societies that emerge from cultural contacts of European "explorers" and those "explored". Instead of explaining these contacts as mere imposures of a major culture onto a minor culture, hybridity emphazises their mutual intermingling. According to Roland Barthes a "third language" evolves that is neither the one nor the other. This model of hybridity is still based on a contact between two partners at one time. Therefore it is refered to as a mixture of four types of hybridity: Artefacts, which are things like people, texts and practices.
Kulturelle Kreuzung wird genutzt um verschiedenen Gesellschaften zu beschreiben die sich durch verschiedene kulturelle Kontakte innerhalb Europas gebildet haben, von den Eroberern und denen die erobert wurden. Laut Roland Barthes bildete sich eine „dritte Sprache“ durch diese Kreuzung der Kulturen. Das Model der Kulturellen Kreuzung basiert noch auf dem Kontakt zwischen zwei Partnern zu einer bestimmten Zeit. Daher bezieht es sich auf eine Mischung von vier Arten von Kreuzung. Wie Kunstsachen, Dinge wie Menschen, Texte und Übungen.
Cultural identity
Culural Identity is the belonging of one person or group to a certain culture. Therefore this person reflects himself with this culture and feels conneceted to it. You can be influenced by a persons culture or by your own culture. Questions of culture are also transfered into questions of identity. The question of cultural identity becomes more important in our globalized world.
Kulturelle Identität benennt die Zugehörigkeit einer Person, oder Gruppe zu einer bestimmten Kultur. Daher reflektiert diese Person sich selbst mit ihrer Kultur und fühlt sich dazu zugehörig. Man kann von einer Person und einer bestimmten Kultur beeinflusst werden. Kulturelle Fragen können auch in Identitätsfragen umgewandelt werden. Die Frage nach kultureller Identität wird immer wichtiger in unserer globalisierten Welt.
third world
In this picture you can see the "three different worlds". The green coloured world is supposed to be the third world. These include countries like Afrika, South America and parts of Asia. The second world are the red coulored parts of the world. The first world are supposed to be the blue coulored parts. The term is been discused. It rose around the cold war. The term provided a way of categorising the world into three groups based on social, political and economic ways.
In dem Bild sieht man die drei verschiedenen Welten. Die grün gemalten Länder sollen die dritte Welt Länder darstellen. Dazu gehört Afrika, Süd Amerika und Teile von Asien. Die zweite Welt sind die rot gemalten Teile der Welt. Die erste Welt soll von den blau gemalten Ländern dargestellt werden. Der Begriff „dritte Welt“ wird aktuell diskutiert. Er bildete sich im Kalten Krieg. Der Begriff zeigt eine Art von Kategorisierung der Welt in drei Gruppen, gegründet aus sozialen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Ursachen.
